Mount Fuji Photo Tours is a collaboration between the American musician, photographer

and long time Japanese resident Craig Hanson, and other members of the prestigious “Fujikoyokai” photography club which was founded by Mr. Okada Koyo, the “Ansel Adams” of Japan. It is based in Corvallis, Oregon, in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley.

 

Craig spent over 20 years residing at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan and many of those years as a nature photographer specializing in Mount Fuji. He is also an avid outdoors-man, having

climbed all over Japan in addition to conquering the summit of Mt. Fuji 10 times. He has given numerous exhibitions of his work and won several awards for his images, some of which can been seen throughout this site.

 

Mount Fuji Photo Tours is one of the few groups to offer guided photography tours to Westerners in Japan and probably the only one to offer guided photography tours of Mount Fuji in English.
